By combining a distinguished lineage with a warm welcome to those new to the sport, Thornhill has become known as a place where curlers have created a community based on camaraderie and mutual affection for this great game.
At the center is Thornhill's active membership, one of the most-recognized in Ontario. Noted for the quality of its ice (6 sheets) and its varied instructional, recreational and competitive programs, curling at Thornhill presents opportunities for all, from those who have been long dedicated to the sport to those just experiencing it for the first time.
The club offers a variety of leagues/programs for men and women, and youth programs starting from the age of six. Additionally each of our curling sections hosts in-club events and invitational bonspiels for which Thornhill has become widely recognized.
For beginners wanting to "give curling a try"; our popular Novice Curling Clinics are offered prior to the start of the season (subject to ice availability)
Our experienced curlers also have opportunities to improve on their games through various clinics being offered throughout the season and/or private lessons from a curling professional.
