The following leagues are available at the Norfolk Curling Club:
Men's League - Pointe Claire
- Meets Monday Evenings
- Draw Time: 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm
- Open to Men 18 Years or Older
- Teams are picked by skips for the season
- The number of first and second year and beginner curlers may be limited
- Participants returning from the previous year will be given priority for the league

Tuesday Open League
- Meets Tueday Evening
- Draw Times: 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm subject to change upon registration
- Open to all member 18 years or older
- May petition the League Committee if under 18 to play in the league
- Can register as a team
- Individuals may register and a team will be formed by the league chair
- League Chair: Terry Olson
This is an opportunity to get a team together that you would like to play with (bonspiel team, womens team, or just a team of people you would like to curl with)
Legend League
- Meets Wednesday Mornings
- Draw Time: 10:00 A.M.
- Open to all fulltime members 21 years and older
- League Chair will choose teams at the beginning of the season or organize pick-up games
- Practice and pickup games on the agenda. Come one come all!

Development League

- Draw Time: 6:15 pm
- Open to all fulltime and junior curling members with 5 years or experience or less
- Instruction and Drills and then a short game to improve skills

Ladies League - Social
- Meets Thursdays Evenings
- Draw Time: 6:15 pm.
- Open to all Fulltime and Junior Women in the Club
- Practice and pickup games
- League Chair:
Mixed League - Robertson Cup
- Meets Friday Evenings
- Draw Times: 4:30 or 6:45 pm
- Open to all fulltime and junior curling members
- Modified Mixed Format
- Female Skip – Male Vice Skip
- Male Skip – Female Vice Skip
- Lead and Second can be either gender
- Teams will be formed by the League Chair

Open Doubles
- Meets Saturday Afternoon
- Draw Times:12:00 pm and 1:30 pm
- Teams will also schedule their own games in an ad-hoc basis using any open ice time
- Open to all members 18 years or older
- May petition the League Committee if under 18 to play in the league
- Can register a team
- Individuals may register and a team will be formed by the league chair
- 7 games each half of season
- League standing based on point system, all teams will not play all other teams

Doubles League: New this year will be an open doubles league. You may sign up as a team or I'll make up teams from those who sign up as individuals. This league will run differently than other leagues primarily for two reasons (info on the web site league sign up is minimal, I hope this writeup helps)
1) we don't have a large enough fixed time slot to schedule this league to play all games
2) people have said they don't want to commit every weekend to play a league
We're addressing this by having this league's teams schedule their own games. On the calendar there will be time slots every Saturday to play 4 games. As a team you will decide if you want to play and pick an opponent. This will all be coordinated using the TeamReach app. So, you'll chat with the other teams asking if they want to play. Once you have a game setup you'll grab ice time via the TeamReach app AND/OR on the NCC web site. We'll play two distinct 'seasons', one in the fall and one in the spring.
- In each season a team must play 7 games (in the course of 10-12 weeks)
- You may play more than 7, but your best 7 will count (in fact many teams will have to play more than 7 so all teams get to play 7)
- A team can play each other team only once.
- A team can play 2 games on the same day if you can schedule it
- Games take 1 1/2 hours (8 ends with a clock)
I will keep a league status/standing updated every week on the NCC web site so you can see which teams have played who and the game results.
Saturdays at 12pm and 1:30pm will be reserved for doubles play. Sunday (6pm), Wednesday(8:30pm) and Thursday(8:30pm) evenings are open ice time available to all members so doubles teams can grab these slots to play games. Or you can play a game any week day during the day, any holiday when ice is available, essentially whenever YOU can make it happen (just coordinate using TeamReach and grab ice time on the NCC web site)

Sunday Open

- Draw Times: 1:30 pm and 3:45 pm subjec to change upon registration
- Open to all fulltime and junior curling members
- Can register as a team
- Individuals may register and a team will be formed by the league chair
